- Learning data: Progress records, streak history, session data, and vocabulary performance
- Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe — we never store your card details
- Usage data: Features used, session duration, and learning patterns (to improve the product)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the language learning service
- To sync your progress across devices
- To process subscription payments via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, payment receipts)
- To analyze learning patterns and improve our algorithm
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS). We use Row Level Security to ensure you can only access your own data. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Export your learning data (CSV/JSON) — available in your account settings
- Object to processing for direct marketing

7. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
